A Note of Thanks and Support

During this semester I had learned the importance of advocating for the rights of young children as an educator it is our responsibility to defend the students right to quality education. In addition, of working in my advocacy plan I have the great chance to work with wonderful colleagues and professors. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the teacher and other colleagues that took the time to read my discussions about my advocacy paper and provide me with feedback  You really help me to put my research paper together. I know that it has been difficult to read with all the grammar and sentence structures mistakes. It is noticeable that English is not my first language and that I been having difficulty to understand the English grammar. But from the bottom of my heart thank you.  I also wish you good luck with all your future plans and hope to see you in the next semester EDU 412. It’s been a pleasure to work with all of you guys!

  1. Hi Maribella,
I commend you for pushing forward in your education and striving to be the best teacher you can be. I do not think I would have done as well as I did without the help of reading everyone's discussion posts and challenges. It was nice to see that I was not the only one struggling with the research paper. Congratulations on completing the course! We are very close to graduating...I wish you and your family a wonderful winter break!

    1. Hi Maribella,

It has been a pleasure reading your posts and I want to thank you for responding to mine! We shared the same advocacy topic on childhood obesity, which I think is an important issue to address. I want to wish you the best in your future courses here at Kendall. Soon you will meet your goal and graduate. What a great accomplishment that will be.

Feliz Navidad & Feliz Año Nuevo!

      Sincerely,
      Cheri Barbosa

  3. Maribella,
It is very difficult to be taking college classes where English is your second language. You have had great ideas and your perseverance is noticed. Good luck with 412 and your future teaching experiences.

  4. These colleagues/blogger buddies have helped me with my advocacy plan and helped me gain a better understanding of what I need to do. They also at times helped build my confidence around the advocacy plan and weither I should complete it or not or continue with the class. You ladies were more than just classmates you were friends that gave suggestions and opinions that put me to think. For that I thank you.
I know with the help of god and your great families you ladies will rise to be some of the best teachers our schools call for and I hope your names remain in the minds of the children you will help teach become successful in this world. I also hope that you take the advocacy skills you gained and the courage from this course and use it to help serve families who need help.
    GOOD LUCK CLASS OF 2013………….
